You have always been able to control which team members see customer details in their Streams. However, up until now, you haven’t been able to control whether your external IDs and CRM / system links are visible—by default these were always displayed.
From October 3rd, we’ll be combining customer name with external IDs and CRM / system links and enabling you to display all or none of this data to different team members.
A summary of the old and new experiences are below.
A point to note: if you and your team make use of the IDs and CRM links but don’t currently have customer names displayed, then you will need to enable this feature to continue to see this data.
All changes can be made by visiting Manage Team > Team Settings.
